Subject: The Senate passed what? Serious fasting and prayer needed

Details covered in interview inside

Dear Friend,

It's Fast Friday, and we absolutely need to be on point, not just today, but every day throughout Advent.

You may have heard that the United States Senate just passed the Respect Marriage Act. Sounds harmless unless you understand what kind of marriage(s) we're supposed to respect and what that means for our country. Let me tell you; it's not good.

The bill has to go back to the House of Representatives to be approved and signed by the president before it becomes law, so we still have some hope. But, it will take heavenly intervention and thus our ardent prayer and penance.

Check out my interview with Mr. Kevin McCarthy, an attorney and lay theologian who nets out the problem and how we must respond.

This is serious. Pray much. Fast well. Share the news.

Your fast friend,
