Today, we celebrate the Feast of St. Juan Diego, the indigenous Mexican Catholic convert given a mission for the Church by Our Lady of Guadalupe in 1531.On December 9, 1531, Juan Diego was on his way to mass to celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception when, instead, he encountered our Lady herself. She appeared as a young native woman with a request that the simple farmer, Juan Diego, was to take to the bishop. The mission seemed impossible to Juan Diego, but he responded to our Lady in faith, opening the door to massive conversions and a flood of miracles and grace throughout the centuries. We are blessed to welcome Fr. Kloster today, with his insights into the heart of St. Juan Diego and his mission for Our Lady of Guadalupe—a perfect Advent reflection in this Jubilee Year of Hope.We hope you can join us this afternoon or catch the video on YouTube or Rumble at your convenience.
