Monumental May continues today with guest Missy Reilly Smith, and we are sure you will agree once you learn more about her and hear what she has to say.

Thanks to the prompting of DMFA prayer warrior Peter Lepre, Missy reached out to us as we were finalizing the lineup for our prayer meeting guests. Over the years, Missy's name had been mentioned to us by other guests, including Kevin McCarthy, Dr. Elizabeth Rex, and Maureen Flynn, all of whom were already scheduled to join us this May. Five minutes into our lengthy conversation, I knew our Lady wanted her to speak to us.

A beautiful mother who deeply regrets two abortions, the tragic loss of one of Missy's sons as a teenager, catapulted her from what she called a "very nominal Catholic" to one of the most staunch and zealous prolife activists in the country.

Missy has prayed at abortion clinics, trained sidewalk counselors, authored books, run for political office, been arrested several times, organized a class-action lawsuit against Pfizer for their abortion drug, hosted and spoken on radio shows and in conferences, and produced chastity programs for women and girls, to name a few of her activities!

With so much to share, Missy will be a recurring guest. Today, we felt her message during this month of Our Lady should be about her latest book, Purity of the Heart, to help us all look into our hearts as we prepare to celebrate the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary in June.
