Given that every Sanctus that you pray sanctifies the place where you stand and the time in which you stand, list some creative places and times to pray this prayer. 4. CCC 2648 – Adoration of the thrice-Holy and sovereign God of love blends with humility and gives assurance to our supplications. How does adoration blend with humility? What other fruits come from adoration? Give examples. 5. St. Bernard of Clairvaux said, “When Jesus is present with His body in us, the angels surround us as a holy guard.” Contemplate this. What effect does this have on your reception of the Holy Eucharist? 6. How do we give ourselves over to God in adoration? 7. What are some other “gods” in our lives? What are some signs we can look for to become consciously aware of those idols we adore? 8. How do you adore God? 9. Pay attention to the words of the priest during Mass and see if you don’t start noticing where he speaks of the angels. Do you know now specifically where they are mentioned?
