A Brief History of "Choose Life" License Plates

& The Children First Foundation



Dr. Elizabeth Rex is the President and Co-Founder of the Children First Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to promoting adoption as a positive choice for unwanted pregnancies and newborns. Her organization has sponsored official “Choose Life License Plates” in Connecticut, New Jersey, and Washington, DC, which have raised over $200,000 to help fund Pregnancy Care Centers.

 

Dr. Rex is also a Professor of Bioethics and has written several published articles defending the dignity of nascent human life from the very first instant of conception until birth.


Married to a retired concert violinist with the New York Philharmonic, she and her husband have three children, two of who were adopted at birth. Their foundation is named in honor of birthmothers who lovingly put the lives of their “children first.”
