Subject: How Christ Used COVID to Spread Divine Mercy

He does not abandon us in times of need...

Hello Friend,

This month, we celebrate the founding of Divine Mercy for America!

This week, we recall the challenges DMFA faced during the COVID pandemic and how Christ used them as fuel for His Divine Mercy.

Americans in Isolation

Americans were isolated from the sacraments, their churches, and their communities. And yet, Christ's Mercy could not be stopped! In 2021, DMFA founded its monthly online novena, bringing about a flourishing online community of faith and support.

Christ's Response

Continuing to this day, faithful from across the country and beyond take part in the Divine Mercy for America Holy Hour Novena from the 1st through the 9th of each month. Beautiful friendships have blossomed and prayer intentions are lifted up with the prayers for our country.

Prior to the holy hour, a guest speaker joins the group to share the work of their apostolate, a Church teaching, or testimony. In the midst of trials, we see how the Church is alive and working in so many people.

Continual Prayer

We visit the perpetual adoration chapel in Vilnius, Lithuania where the original painting of the Divine Mercy is on display and the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in a monstrance. During the hour, all four novenas for our country are made plus a recitation of the Holy Rosary.

"For your sake, I bless the entire country."

We truly value your membership as a DMFA team member. At this moment we would like you to prayerfully consider if God is calling you to help even more in a very concrete way. We rely on your donations to continue growing this important work. Please consider becoming a patron with a monthly donation.

Together as the DMFA team grows we can continue to become an even more powerful force in this spiritual battle.

The Impact of Our Holy Hours...

Thank you so much for all you do. I gained so much from participating in the recent 9-day novena. Excellent talks and prayers and having the time available in Vilnius each day was so rewarding.

Thank you, Dr. Howard!  What a wonderful and inspiring talk.  Thank you, Joan and Dave. You always have such wonderful speakers and help us experience beautiful holy hours.  God bless you and all of our monthly prayer warriors.
