This month marks the 91st anniversary of St. Faustina's vision of Jesus in which He said to have an image painted as she saw Him and that He desired there to be a Feast of Mercy.


We couldn't think of a better person to have as our special guest to share some insights about the painting of this image than our friend Daniel diSilva. His talk will prepare us well for our virtual trip to the adoration chapel in Vilnius where the original image is on display for the Holy Hour Novena for Our Nation.

Humanae Vitae and the Sexual Revolution


Daniel diSilva is best known as the director of the authoritative documentary film about the history and significance of Saint Faustina's life work, The Original Image of Divine Mercy (2015). A world-renowned expert on the Vilnius Divine Mercy masterpiece, diSilva also directed Sexual Revolution: 50 Years Since Humanae Vitae (2018), a documentary film about the simultaneous and related developments of Natural Family Planning (NFP) and "The Pill." The founding director of The Divine Mercy Summit, an annual online conference on all things Divine Mercy, diSilva joins us from his home in Fort Worth, Texas where he writes about Fr. Michael Sopoćko and artist Eugenniusz Kazimirowski.
