The momentum that couldn't be stopped...
| | | Throughout the month of October, we celebrate the founding of Divine Mercy for America and the milestones it has witnessed. Today, we focus on the Mercy Sunday Momentum campaign of 2022, which brought thousands together in prayer and preparation for Mercy Sunday, and witnessed the overturning of Roe v. Wade just a month after its completion. | Perhaps the greatest day of grace for ourselves, our country, and the world is the Feast of Divine Mercy. Yet still, too many do not know about this feast or how to obtain the extraordinary graces available on it. Those who belong to the Divine Mercy for America movement lead the way in fervently celebrating and spreading the good news of the Feast of Mercy.
The Annual Campaign's Structure
The MSM campaign begins even before Lent so that families and parishes can begin to get ready. We travel toward the feast in a special way with our Lady through a 54-Day Rosary Novena that begins on Ash Wednesday and concludes precisely on Divine Mercy Sunday. The campaign continues after Mercy Sunday to the end of the Easter Season at Pentecost with the novena to the Holy Spirit. Upwards of 8,000 individuals learned about the promises of Divine Mercy Sunday and how they with their families could receive them through a new website, extensive google ads, an email campaign, and an MSM video series Listings of over 130 DMS celebrations were made public to Catholics everywhere through the MSM interactive map One month later, news broke that Roe v Wade might be overturned, which Christ brought about on June 24th!
