Seven Deadly Sins Part 2: Pride, Envy, Avarice, and Gluttony

Fr. Wagner was born and raised in the Episcopal Church in northeast Ohio. In 1978 he joined the Air Force and was stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After an assignment to Germany, the veteran returned to Albuquerque to pursue a major in Philosophy and a minor in English at the University of New Mexico.

After attending Nashotah House Episcopal Seminary in Wisconsin, he became rector of St. John's Episcopal Church in Kewanee, Illinois, in 2005. In 2008 he moved to Texas and converted to the Roman Catholic Church. Father David was ordained in the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter in August 2014. Since June 2016, he has been the Pastor of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Kerrville, Texas.
