29th Annual International Week of Prayer and Fasting
-

Dear Friend,

As you well know, we are in the most significant spiritual battle of all time. Many great Catholic initiatives have been charging onward as heaven has directed. Now we providentially close out the Marian month of October with the 29th Annual International Week of Prayer and Fasting.

Here is an excellent way to gear up, gain refreshment and inspiration to strengthen ourselves for The Great Battle for the Triumph. We're counting on you to take part in any way possible. Check it out and spread the news.

The International Week of Prayer and Fasting campaign is both a grassroots movement of Catholics and other Christians from around the world participating in a global network of prayer and fasting, and an inspiring online conference featuring daily mass, 24/7 live adoration, 30 speakers, and more.

The goal is to mobilize churches, communities, schools, prayer groups, and clergy to pray and fast:

  • For the conversion of all people and nations

  • To build a culture of life

  • To defend the sanctity of marriage and family life

  • For peace and to implore God's mercy

  • For all priests, vocations, and holiness of the members of the Church

Historically the event has been hosted at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC. In 2020 and 2021 the conference has been hosted online. During the week of the event, all of the talks will be available to watch for free. Purchase the 'All Access Pass' for $39.99 and have access to all 30 videos as well as downloadable audio files.

"The IWOPF brings together people of all ages, backgrounds, and races. From October 23rd - October 31st, 2021, we gather to pray for an end to the “culture of death,” and for a newfound appreciation for basic human rights, particularly in the United States of America. By invoking the help of our Blessed Mother, the Virgin Mary, and by praying the Rosary, we play a crucial role in the conversion of nations and changing the course of world events."

Bishop Joseph Strickland (Diocese of Tyler, Texas) will offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass via livestream on Monday, October 25, and Bishop Thomas Olmsted (Diocese of Phoenix, Arizona) will close the Conference on Sunday, October 31, with a talk and will then lead Conference participants in a Prayer of Consecration to the Hearts of Jesus, Mary, and St. Joseph.

Some of the other speakers include Kathleen BeckmanFr. Frank Pavone, Susan Brinkmann, Fr. Chris Alar MIC, Joan and Dave Maroney, Susan Tassone, Fr. David Gunter MIC, Monsignor Stephen Rosetti, Mother Gabrielle Marie, Fr. Tom CelsoFr. Greg BramlageFr. Timothy ByerleyTed Flynn, and many more!
