Spring print issue - coming soon!

We are busy putting the finishing touches to our Spring 2022 print issue and this quarter, we're looking at some visibly enlightening topics. Douglas David Seifert investigates the eyes of the underwater world, accompanied by some out-of-this-world macro photography; Alfie Minnaar sets sail with the unlikely captains of Raja Ampat's Calico Jack; Christian Horras almost gets speared by marlin chasing a Baja Magdalena bait ball and Mark 'Crowley' Russell reports how high blood pressure may live up to its reputation as a 'silent killer' of scuba divers. Featured Photographer - Byunggil You

Korean underwater photographer Byunggil You, fell in love with the ocean world from the the moment he first learned to dive in Cairns, Australia. In 2015 he decided to pursue his passion professionally, and began exploring underwater photography taking pictures of the guests who came to dive at Flare Divers, the company he runs in Okinawa, Japan. Byunggil has since specialised in photographing other divers, although there's plenty of fish life inside his fantastic DIVE portfolio! Egyptian authorities issued a travel advisory asking visitors to register two days before travelling or face long delays on arrival. But don't worry...
