It started as a homemade chemistry lesson I gave my 14-year-old son, Blair. He's 19 yo, now.
I wanted to teach him the real science—not from textbooks, but from ancient Babylon.
But, I also wanted to teach him a mindset...
In ancient Babylon, they lived by a powerful truth:
Your outer work must reflect your inner vision.
Babylon was an ancient empire in Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq), known for its advanced science, math, and architecture - 1900 to 500 years before Christ!
Life in Babylon was hard. The desert was harsh, wars were constant, and food, water, and safety weren’t guaranteed.
People didn’t chase comfort—they worked to survive. There were no shortcuts, no handouts. The strongest didn’t just survive—they built with their bare hands, using discipline, knowledge, and spirit. They looked for the hardest routes. Hard work and creativity was the only religion.
Guided by the teachings of Thoth, they believed the world was shaped from within - the external was simply a reflection and a response to your thoughts...and they originated and curated in the pineal gland.
The pineal gland—the inner eye—was seen as the bridge between the soul and the physical world.
As above, so below.
But this wasn’t comfortable.
Their work was long, painful, and exact.
Alchemy wasn’t magic—it was discipline, sacrifice, and faith.
Each batch of soap, oil, or remedy took months—sometimes years. They didn’t chase ease. They endured it all to bring their vision to life.
To them, pain was part of the process.
And that’s why their creations still echo through time.
Because what is forged with effort, lasts forever.
Work ethic in Babylon meant this:
“What you do is who you are.”
If you didn’t work, you didn’t eat. If you wanted to protect your family, you had to master your craft—whether that was farming, building, or even making soap. It wasn’t about chasing luxury. It was about building a future in a world that gave you nothing for free.
Babylonian chemists didn’t just make soap—they forged protection from the elements using ash, oil, and earth. They used their minds, their discipline, and their spirit.
That legacy is in every Filthy Animal bar.
Today, we live in a world obsessed with ease. People want results without the effort. They want the rewards without the callouses—mental or physical. Struggle is labeled a sickness that needs medications to treat it! Discomfort is seen as something to avoid.
But here’s the truth:
The only way to grow is to keep doing hard things—until they don’t feel hard anymore.
That’s how the Filthy Animal 3:1 Charcoal Bar was born.
Not for the shortcut crowd.
For those who still believe in earning their place—skin, soul, and spirit.
We still make this bar the hard way...
Because we believe what you put on your skin should be as real as what you believe inside.
We believe you deserve the greatest protection the physical world has to offer - not something that risks your hormones and longevity.
So if you’ve been waiting—good.
