I was losing her to the teenage years.
The morning hugs, night time tea and jiu-jitsu were slowly dwindling…
I got her attention with a soap collaboration…the challenge was to design the most luxurious soap for the body, face, hair and…the mind.
It had to be perfect; lush lather, ultra-delicate and yield a heavenly scent from only the finest essential oils.
And yes, it had to soothe the mind by being the perfect replacement to over 150 cancer causing chemicals in the bathroom!

This collaboration brought her back to me.
It put us in the garage every Sunday for months…we set out to use something that had never been used before - essential oils of rose.
That meant we needed 30,000 organic rose petals to have required amount of essential oils!
We started by contacting farmers and distillers.
We calculated potential recipes hundreds of times.
We scoured her old lab books for ideas and potential pitfalls.
And then we started our saponification process.
It was well worth it…
