On Sunday May 10, we will hold a special service to commemorate Swami Sri Yukteswar's Birthday. From 11am-12pm we will live stream SRF's monastic led Commemoration Service. At 12:00 noon, devotees are invited to offer a flower and a donation as symbols of their devotion and loyalty before the portrait picture of Sw. Sri Yukteswar. The fragrance of the flower is saved for the Guru being honored, and the donation may be brought in a sealed envelope. “Celebration of the birthday of a God-realized soul should not be belittled as a merely social ceremony. It is a deeply spiritual occasion on which the vibrations of blessing from an illumined master are stronger than on other days in the year, because in the astral world, also, a celebration is taking place.
