 Lahiri Mahasaya

Mahavatar Babaji to Lahiri Mahasaya:

"The cries of many bewildered worldly men and women have not fallen unheard on the ears of the Great Ones. You have been chosen to bring spiritual solace through Kriya Yoga to numerous earnest seekers. The millions who are encumbered by family times and heavy worldly duties will take new heart from you, a householder like themselves. You should guide them to understand that the highest yogic attainments are not barred to the family man. Even in the world, the yogi who faithfully discharges his responsibilities, without personal motive or attachment, treads the sure path of enlightenment.

...Give Kriya to all who humbly ask you for help,' the merciful guru replied. Repeat the majestic promise from the Bhagavad-Gita:

"Even a little practice of this dharma (religious rite or righteous action) will save you from great fear-the colossal sufferings inherent in the repeated cycles of birth and death."

I Do Not Want To See Him Alone

By Paramahansa Yogananda

I seek not lone transcendence in my salvation
I would not selfish have the peace of Heaven
I refuse the joys of angels
I spurn at Shiva's throne
Whilst brothers mine and sisters
Fall broken, sad in earthly dust.

I will not fill the cup of my Elysian eyes
To brim with joy and drink, while cries
Of thirst come from my brethren on the road,
All bent, all worn, with life's oppressive load.

Oh, cowards dream to flee from pain
Whilst many a suffering friend still groans
In silent sorrow, dumb despair;
Tis shame to drink while crying rends the air.

I do not want to see Him alone!

Group meditation is a castle that protects the new spiritual aspirants as well as the veteran meditators. Meditating together increases the degree of Self-realization of each member of the group by the law of invisible vibratory exchange of group magnetism.

The classes will be Sundays 11am to 12 noon.
We very much look forward to seeing you and your children.

Changes For Our DFW Meditation Group

As mentioned earlier this year our Managing Council together with the Long Term Planning Committee realized the need for our group to become a legal entity with non-profit status. We have had meetings with ministers at Mother Center and communicated with other SRF groups that have incorporated. Being an incorporated non-profit church allows us to purchase a property without a requirement to pay property taxes.

In May of this year our group voted to incorporate. Our application to incorporate the Dallas Fort Worth Meditation Group has been approved by SRF and the process will now proceed.
Dallas Ft. Worth Building Fund

We are pleased to report that due to your generosity the Dallas Ft. Worth Building Fund has a current total of $661,312 as of June 30th, 2022.

The building fund exists for the purpose of allowing our group to have a permanent Chapel when the time is right. We would like to encourage those who can contribute, comfortably, to our building fund to do so.

A donation of any amount will be gratefully accepted.

Our building fund is held in an account for us by Self-Realization Fellowship. Gifts to this fund are tax exempt.

Thank you all for your continued generosity and sponsorship of the Dallas Fort Worth Group’s Chapel Project.
