God speaks through the Guru-
from his at-onement with Him

"The Lord ever silently whispers to you:

'I am Love. But to experience the giving and the gift of love, I divided Myself into three; love, lover, and beloved. My love is beautiful, pure, eternally joyous; and I taste it in many ways, through many forms.

Without speaking a word, I have loved you always. I alone can truly say, 'I love you'; for I loved you before you were born; My love gives you life and sustains you even at this moment; and I alone can love you after the gates of death imprison you where none, not even your greatest human lover, can reach you.

I am the love that dances human puppets on strings of emotions and instincts, to play the drama of love on the stage of life. My love is beautiful and endlessly enjoyable when you love it alone; but the lifeline of your peace and joy is cut when instead you become entangled in human emotion and attachment. Realize, My children, it is My love for which you yearn!

Those who love Me as only one person, or who imperfectly love Me in one person, do not know what Love is. Only they can know Love who love Me wisely, faultlessly, completely, all-surrenderingly--who love Me perfectly and equally in all, and who love Me perfectly and equally as all.'"

! * DFW Chapel 2020 Building Fund Goal Surpassed* !

During the month of December we surpassed the goal of $450,000 for our building fund! This goal was set in 2008 during a building fund meeting with the  figure of $450,000. The objective was to pick a fund raising goal for the end of 2020 that was not to high nor too low. By a divine hand it was just right.

We had a very successful Chapel 2020 Zoom Kirtan for the purpose of raising funds. We did not yet have our end of November total from Mother Center which would have told us we only needed $230 to achieve our goal. During this Zoom fund raiser we raised $37,000 in donations made or pledged!

The building fund exists for the purpose of allowing our group to have a permanent Chapel when the time is right. We now have the task of selecting a new amount for a future goal. We realize that it will take more than our current building fund to obtain a new permanent Chapel. We still encourage those who can contribute, comfortably to our building fund, to do so. A donation of any amount will be gratefully accepted.

Our building fund is held in an account for us by Self-Realization Fellowship.
Gifts to this fund are tax exempt.

Thank you all for your continued generosity and sponsorship of the DFW Group’s Chapel Project.

Encouraging Our Members to Stay Involved At This Time

During this unusual time of necessary social distancing, we want to ensure we are reaching all of the Dallas Fort Worth Self-Realization Fellowship devotees to make you aware of, and encourage you, to make use of the methods of fellowship that we do have available. Master considered divine friendship among devotees and friends very important, and we want to engender as much of a sense of support and fellowship as we are able during these times.

With the goal of maintaining divine fellowship while our Chapel remains closed, our group now has informal Zoom Fellowship meetings most Sundays at 11am. The meetings are well attended and have a focus on compassionate harmony among the participants, uplifting stories, or short readings from Self-Realization Fellowship publications, as well as offering support to those in need.

We also have Zoom meetings with Kirtan on Thursdays 8-9pm. If you would like to be included in these Zoom meetings, please email to: connect@srfdallasfortworth.org
You will be emailed a link to join us with Zoom.

And we have one more opportunity if you would like to join us. We have an informal WhatsApp group started by members of our Managing Council for our DFW-SRF Meditation Group. To join, please install WhatsApp on your device, and use the link: https://chat.whatsapp.com/ItsAFW1n7DZ1TIVe6GCFhJ. We hope you will join us in this fellowship.

DFW Chapel Services Update
Currently All Of Our Services Are Cancelled
Because of Covid-19

We continue to monitor updates and news from both local and SRF sources regarding the opening of our DFW Chapel for services. We are configuring the chapel and India hall for social distancing and going over health and safety procedures for the time when we will be able to meet there again.

As you are aware, the recommendation to adhere to social distancing guidelines remains for the purpose of maintaining safety for ourselves and others. We take your safety very seriously and know that the small size of our Chapel poses distinct challenges regarding adherence to social distance guidelines. We very much look forward to the time when our services can resume and at that time we will send out notifications and updates.
