Importance of the festival/event

Pushpayagam is the offering of fresh flowers to Lord Venkateswara. As per the scriptures, this festival is usually performed to save the earth from natural calamities such as quakes, cyclones, epidemics and appease the Lord to save the life of humanity, flora and fauna from all the catastrophes.

Guru Purnima

Importance of the festival/event

Guru Purnima is a spiritual tradition dedicated to spiritual teachers who are evolved or enlightened humans, ready to share their wisdom, with very little or no monetary expectation, based on Karma Yoga. This festival is observed to revere one’s chosen spiritual teachers / leaders and express their gratitude.
