Post Covid there are many challenges impacting health in new ways never seen before.

During Lockdown. many people made the mistake of using toxic hand sanitisers based on top down advice. Many went totally ultra here and were sanitizing 10 times+ a day,


The problem with that is the fact the the sanitisers are totally toxic combination of low alcohol, toxic fragrance and cancer causing compounds some of which are listed below:


  • Ethanyl Alcohol – This germ-killing agent in alcohol-based hand sanitizers evaporates within seconds after applying, but some is still absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream. Research shows it can be an irritant to eyes, nose, and skin.

  • Aminomethyl Propanol – This clear, colorless liquid is added to skincare products to make their pH levels less acidic and more alkaline. Research suggests it can irritate skin, eyes, and lungs. It is also considered an environmental contaminant.

  • Glycerin – Found in many skincare products, toothpastes, and even processed foods, glycerin is made of animal or vegetable fats. It has a low toxicity level but may irritate your skin.

  • Parabens – Parabens, are used to preserve other ingredients and extend a product’s shelf life.

  • Isopropyl Myristate – This oil is derived from animal or plant fat and used as a binding agent. It has a low toxicity level but may cause skin, eye, and lung irritation.

  • Propylene Glycol  – Various government agencies classify this chemical (which can be petroleum or plant-based) as nontoxic, but some research indicates it may be a skin, eye, and lung irritant. It is widely used in cosmetics, antifreeze, and processed foods.

  • Tocopheryl Acetate – Animal testing has found this chemical compound, which consists of acetic acid and tocopherol (vitamin E), causes tumor formation at high doses. There is strong evidence that it is a human-skin toxicant or allergen.

  • Fragrance – Loosely regulated in the United States, “fragrance” might contain any number of 3,000-plus chemicals. Companies aren’t required to disclose the ingredients that make up their scents, and when you see a label, you’re likely only seeing a 1/3rd or less of the actual ingredients. Often, “fragrance” is made from dozens of compounds, including those found to be highly toxic (such as phthalates, which are known endocrine

  • disruptors that mimic hormones and alter genital development.)


These chemicals are able to enter the blood stream via the skin within a few seconds. Anything in the blood must through the Liver,




over the last few months i have seen increase in Liver damge and abnormalities especially Alcoholic Liver Damage in NON DRINKERS!!


I am seeing this directly linked to heavy use of hand sanitisers many months ago.

The study found that people who consumed nuts had higher levels of liver enzymes, meaning that their livers were capable of filtering more toxins.

9. Beets and Carrots

Colourful vegetables are always a little bit eye-catching, and we all know that one of the easiest ways to make sure that we are eating healthily is to try to make sure that we eat ‘all of the colours of the rainbow’, or so to speak. Phytonutrients have been proven to help with the removal of harmful substances, including pesticides, chemicals, prescription, and non-prescription drugs, metals that have accumulated over time, and even carcinogens.

Cabbage is also considered to be a healthy option because it can lower the amount of cholesterol that is present in our bodies. Studies have also been done that have proven that the intake of cabbage decreases the risk of a handful of different cardiovascular diseases.

This all explains why cabbage is commonly considered to be one of the healthiest vegetables that we can eat. Other important cruciferous vegetables that act in a similar way when ingested include cauliflower and daikon.

12. Artichoke

An artichoke is a fibrous vegetable that has recently made a name for itself as a liver superfood. It contains a phenolic acid compound that is commonly known as cynarin, and this compound can help the way in which our digestive system works. It does this in two ways. Firstly, it promotes the discharge of bile within our bodies, leaving our liver with less work to do. Secondly, it stimulates the production of bile inside the liver itself.

But, the most interesting thing about artichokes was found during a double-blind clinical trial that involved people who were suffering from a non-alcoholic form of fatty liver disease.

The study contained two groups. The members of the first group were taking tablets that contained the extracts of artichokes, while the members of the second group were taking a placebo. By the end of the study, the group who had been taking the tablets that contained the artichoke extracts showed lower amounts of both cholesterol and triglycerides than those not taking the tablets. But, the study also found that elevated levels of liver enzymes dropped dramatically. In fact, the levels almost halved in most cases.

13. Kale

 When we start to look at all of the different ways in which we can help our own livers, one of the methods that always springs to mind is to minimize the number of toxins in our bloodstream. This lessens the burden that we place on our liver. We can do this by eating foods that can help to detoxify our blood, like kale. As a plant, kale contains a high concentration of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is known to purify the blood and assist liver function. Kale is also known to help reduce inflammation, making it a perfect option for people who have pre-existing liver conditions. In most liver conditions, inflammation plays a big role and it can make the conditions incredibly painful.

14.  Brussels sprouts

Another fantastic example of a healthy cruciferous vegetable that can really help the liver is brussels sprouts, a food that is traditionally eaten around the Christmas holiday.

They contain a high level of glucosinolates, components that are naturally found in a lot of different plants, including mustard, cabbage and horseradish. These glucosinolates help a lot with the detoxification process. Aiding the detoxification process is really important because our livers actually have a lot of work to do. If they have to remove fewer toxins, or if the toxins become easier to remove, then our livers can work more to handle other tasks.

These include processing vital nutrients, regulating the composition of our blood and metabolising medication. This is an important factor to consider if you have to take prescription medications.

15. Tomatoes

Tomatoes also contain glutathione, just like a number of the other foods that are present on our list of liver-friendly foods do. Remember that, as an outstanding type of antioxidant, glutathione can really help when it comes to removing toxins from the body. But, tomatoes also contain something that is more important than glutathione when it comes to the health of our livers, lycopene. High levels of lycopene can be found in tomatoes. It is a bright red phytochemical. This particular phytochemical can also be found in red carrots, watermelons, and papayas. But, it isn’t found in some red-colored fruits, like strawberries.

Lycopene is important because it can be used to prevent several different types of cancer.

A study that was done at Tufts University found that lycopene is particularly effective at treating both liver disease and cancer of the liver.

16. Spinach

Spinach is definitely a type of food that you should be swiftly adding to your current diet if you currently have a liver condition, as long as that liver condition has not been caused by alcohol. But, spinach can also provide people with all of the same benefits that other leafy green vegetables can. Spinach is a great option for people who have liver conditions because it is high in vitamin E.A study that was done at the Cape Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Ohio found out just how important vitamin E really is.

The study was done on mice who were suffering from fat accumulation in the liver and inflammation of the liver. One group was given vitamin E supplements, while the other group was deprived of vitamin E. In the group with the supplements, a lot of the symptoms got better, the opposite can be said for the other group.

This study confirms that there is a correlation between vitamin E deficiency and fatty liver disease.

17. Asparagus

If you are looking to keep your liver functioning in a way that keeps your body healthy, asparagus is one of the vegetables that you might want to consider integrating into your diet. One of the reasons for this is because asparagus has diuretic qualities, meaning that it can be used to help flush toxins out of your body, lessening the workload of your liver and allowing your liver, kidneys, and digestive system to function well as a whole.

Asparagus is also known to increase the levels of ADH and ALDH that are present in your liver, both of which are types of enzymes that are responsible for metabolizing ethanol.

This means that asparagus could be the key to getting rid of a hangover, and it can offer your liver a little bit of protection from the toxic components of alcohol.

 

18.  Olive oil

One of the easiest things to integrate into your diet if you are attempting to protect the health of your liver is actually olive oil. A lot of studies have been done by research teams in the Middle East, one of which found that a diet that contained olive oil helped to protect a number of rats from herbicide-inflicted liver damage. This did not happen under normal circumstances either, all of the rats were exposed to a toxic herbicide that is known to affect how well the liver can remove toxins. It is also worth considering the fact that olive oil is much healthier than other modern alternatives because it is a type of unsaturated fat and it is high in omega-3 fatty acids. These can actually help reverse oxidative stress to the liver.
