In our "Year of Living Simply," we recognize that many have grown spiritually "fat" by consuming endless content through apps and podcasts. It is easy to get comfortable in the pasture, but we eventually become so weighed down by the wool of knowledge that we can no longer move effectively for the Master.

The Reality: If we are just consuming and never contributing, we become spiritually heavy.

The Conviction: "God didn't call us to just be fat sheep in the fold; He called us to be laborers in the harvest. Spiritual growth without service is just weight."

The Scripture: "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." — James 1:22 (KJV).

KINGDOM FOOTPRINTS: Sowing Seeds Across the Digital Divide

Reaching the Incarcerated: Through our App pilot, our Gospel materials reached inmates on 664,936 tablets across the United States.

High Impact Engagement: In just 30 days, we generated over 124,000 views with a watch time of over 30 minutes.

Strengthening Families: We have successfully shipped 18 books directly to inmates and their families to provide spiritual grounding during their hardest hours.

National Reach: Our total digital presence reached approximately 21,500 total impressions this month.

THE NORTH WOODS VISION: Planting the Seeds of Tomorrow’s Camp

We are diligently preparing the ground for our 2026 Summer Camp with disciplined stewardship and planning.

The Deposit: We have officially secured the dates for two weeks of camp starting July 10, 2026.

Safety & Compliance: We are currently reviewing bundled insurance options to meet the state's $1 million liability insurance requirement. Neep your prayer!

INK WET WITH PRAYER: The Ministry of the Pen and Life

Whether through marriage ministry or inmate discipleship, we are writing words that lead to life, trusting the Spirit to provide the increase.

The Golden Circle: The upcoming release of The Space Between Our Hands features a new core chapter on the 8 Rings to a lifetime of love.

Anchoring the Soul: Writing is underway for The Simple Life Discipleship Guide: Building Strong Roots for Your Life in Christ, specifically tailored for the unique struggles of inmates and their families.

A SEAT AT THE TABLE: The Miracle of Holistic Compassion

We believe in meeting the whole person—spirit and body—treating deep needs beyond just the immediate crisis through a Ministry of Presence.

The Encounter: We met a veteran and his son at a Taco Bell; the father was struggling after a disability check error left them displaced.

The Action: We sat and ate together before coordinating with partners to secure a hotel and eventually permanent housing.

The Fruit: The family is now successfully housed in the Veterans Village of Glendale Apartments and is active in a local church and school.

VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH: J.M. & The "Ready Writer" Spirit

This month, we celebrate J.M., a testament to the power of redemption. J.M. first encountered our ministry through social media and podcasts while seeking the Lord "in the dark"—a true Nicodemus moment.

From Transition to Testimony: After serving federal time and navigating the "bumpy road" of returning home, J.M. was moved by the Holy Spirit to reach out.

He is now a vital part of our Mentorship Program and has officially joined the Ministry of the Pen. As a husband and father, J.M. is dedicated to "redeeming the time" and has already published an article through our podcast network to help others find their way to the Shepherd.

THE METHOD: The "Nicodemus" Effect

Our strategy is rooted in what I call The "Nicodemus" Effect. Just as Nicodemus sought Jesus under the cover of night to avoid judgment, modern seekers use our digital platforms to explore the Gospel "in the dark"—a private, safe space free from the pressure of face-to-face confrontation.

Preferred Access (72% Preference): Non-Christians overwhelmingly prefer the anonymity of Podcasts and Videos. This allows them to "lurk" and listen at their own pace.

Targeted Solutions (64% Preference): Through Online Blogs and Apps, seekers search for specific answers to life’s "Frogs"—anxiety, grief, and stress—leading them directly to our teaching.

Overcoming Barriers: While Physical Tracts have an adoption rate of only 12%, our digital content is welcomed into users' private lives.

The Outcome: The most compelling reason for our digital focus is the Power of Multiplication. A non-Christian is 4x more likely to text a link to a podcast episode to a friend than they are to hand them a physical paper tract.
