Camp Growth 2026: A Summer of Hope, Faith, and Fun

We are excited to share details for Camp Growth 2026, a unique summer experience designed to provide a nurturing and empowering environment for children and youth facing challenging circumstances. The camp photos are from Camp David, Kansas, where we spent two weeks learning from their model and replicating a similar camp experience here in California.

Our mission is to allow every child to simply "be kids" and enjoy the wonders of summer. The camp, scheduled for July 13-24, 2026, will serve at-risk children and youth, ages 8 to 16, particularly those with a parent in prison or those in the foster care system because both parents are incarcerated. The first week will be for girls, and the second week for boys. Attendance for all children will be completely free of charge.

Our program focuses on holistic development, combining engaging activities with a strong emphasis on spiritual connection and the development of life skills. Campers build community by connecting with peers who share similar backgrounds, and they benefit from supportive mentorship from staff with relatable personal experiences. Through interactive classes, children receive character training, "Growth Journey" training, and learn foundational truths about salvation and baptism. To help them share the gospel, every camper will have the opportunity to earn a Wordless Book Wristband by explaining its message to a staff member. Activities range from swimming and archery to arts and crafts and counselor devotions. The logo for Camp Growth 2026 is now complete.

Direct Organization & Support: Our team provides hands-on support to 128 individuals and families, both within and outside the jail system, through visits, calls, and other forms of communication. Our Discipleship Program is also making a tangible impact, with 18 copies of the Continue (Disciple book) sent to inmates this month.

Celebrating Our Journey of Impact

We are thrilled to share some key highlights from our organization this year, showcasing the incredible growth and impact we've seen.

Website Performance: Our website has experienced remarkable growth, with 9,400 active users and a 1,100% increase in new users this year, resulting in a total of 14,000 views. Paid social media campaigns are our top source of traffic, followed by organic social media and direct visits.

Social Media Performance: We've achieved over 3.3 million views and 2.6 million in reach across our social channels, led by our Facebook pages, which have a combined reach of over 2.5 million people.

Podcast Performance: Our podcasts, Growth Journey and Bible Bites: Big Truths in Minutes, have collectively reached over 11,000 listeners and garnered 5,114 downloads, demonstrating the growing reach of our audio content.

eBook Campaign: The landing page for our Growth Journey eBook has received over 21,000 page views, and the download button has been clicked nearly 8,000 times, showing strong interest in our educational resources.

Upcoming Initiatives

The journey of growth never stops, and we are stepping into our next season with prayer and purpose.

Reboot Growth: We are thrilled to announce that our new "Reboot Growth" program will be starting in the next couple of weeks. This initiative is designed for those who need a fresh start and a way to get back on track. The inspiration for this program came from a husband who, after being sent to state prison, expressed a deep need for a "reboot in growth" for himself and his Christian family. This program is designed for individuals who, through life's unexpected challenges, require guidance and support to reconnect with their faith and personal growth. More details will be released later.
Property in Oroville: We are prayerfully considering the acquisition of a property in Oroville to expand our physical presence.
New Chaplains: A new group of chaplains from various states is emerging in the ranks, strengthening our team's reach and impact.
Administrative Support: We have added new administrative support to help streamline our operations.
Digital Team: A new digital team has joined us to enhance the quality of our podcast and video production.
Our Pastor Organization continues to grow through a dedicated prayer initiative. Every Saturday, we select two random names of pastors and their churches from our list. Our prayers are specific, asking for the pastor's wisdom and strength for their upcoming service and the well-being of their church family. We then research each church's website and watch their latest services to understand their unique needs. On Monday, we will send a follow-up email to let them know our organization is praying for them and their church. This is a traditional display of support, demonstrating our unwavering faith in the church and its pastor, with no hidden agenda. Furthermore, we take a random pastor and their family out for a meal each month as a way to honor them, show our support, and express our gratitude.
Podcast Bible Bites: Our "Bible Bites" podcast is growing, with 11 different ministries, Christian leaders, and even Christian women leaders, all contributing as writers to create short, powerful spiritual, motivational, and life-challenge episodes.
The Growth Journey Podcast: This podcast continues to be a source of profound knowledge and spiritual insight, featuring content crafted by our leadership team and spiritual leaders, and produced with the assistance of our new digital team.
