Artisano's Cheese Night and Turkey Talk

Let's talk turkey with Thanksgiving just around the corner.

Darby Simpson, Owner of Simpson Farms will be stopping by to discuss turkeys and what you should look for when buying your Thanksgiving Turkey.

He will discuss GMO and Non-GMO birds and how birds should be feed during their grow stages. Sign-up and learn why that frozen turkey at your local grocer might not be so good for you and we will discuss ideas on how to prepare and cook your turkey.

We will also continue our monthly cheese night with a special smoked gouda and we will have a few surprises and some great small plate appetizers.

Lastly, we will have a special guest coming in to discuss the best wines for Thanksgiving, is it red or is it white? Does it even matter?

Our class size moving forward is 26, so classes will fill-up quickly.

Want a truly special Thanksgiving meal this year? We'll be providing local pasture raised Thanksgiving turkey's from Simpson Farms just in time for your family gathering. These birds will be raised with typical transitional organic grains (no GMO's), certified organic mineral supplements and on chemical free, lush pastures.

These birds will be fresh, not frozen and will be handed out first come first served basis . Cost will be $5.49/lb. and sizes will range from 14-22 lbs. To reserve your turkey you will need to place a $25 deposit and pick what category size you would like to order. (14-18 lbs., 18-22 lbs., 22+ lbs.)
Your order will be available for pickup on Friday, November 21st at Artisano's Oils and Spices. If you cannot personally pickup your turkey on Friday, please make arrangements with family or friends to pickup your turkey. Failure to pickup your turkey on above date will result in it being forfeited.
