Tuesday July 23rd, 2019 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm "THE MISSING INGREDIENT: ACID"
What does Acidity mean in Cooking?
How many times have you tasted a dish, and no matter how much salt, pepper or seasoning you add, you still feel like it’s missing something? That “something” is probably acid. Our taste buds are happiest when the fats, salts, sweetness and acidity levels work together. Your dish is coming up short because it’s off balance. Whether from lemons, vinegar or wine, the quality of sourness may be the missing ingredient that will catapult your meals to the next level.
Learn how not to be afraid of the Acid and it's pucker power but rather how to effectively use acid as a balance to your food, thus making dishes more appealing.
