Making your own Spanish Paella
The famous dish of Spain, paella is a feast for all the food lovers with the signature saffron hue to its heavenly scent and incredible flavor. In this hands-on class, our instructor will introduce you to the authentic Spanish ingredients that make paella so uniquely delicious. We'll show you how to prepare the sofrito and stock base and share secrets to achieving the allusive socarrat. (Socarrat is the crusty crispy bottom of the paella that becomes caramelized and toasted on the bottom of the pan when it is cooking.)
This is a great couple class or bring a friend, you will work in pairs.

Paella is Technique driven so you will learn all the little tricks to making great paella
1 16: paella pan
Students will cook on small free standing burner & pan. The paellero will teach a Chicken and Shrimp or a four pork paella, you pick which paella you want to make.. You will learn the secrets to making a Spanish paella including spice mixes & sauce bases, hone your paella cooking instincts, learn more about the history of Spanish paella and the components that make Spanish paella so delicious.
We will end the night feasting on the paella you made and a small salad with bread and our famous herb butter and our house Sangria.
