Heather Gaudio Fine Art, in New Canaan, is the next stop on The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County's Progressive Gallery Tour of Coastal Fairfield County
The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County is pleased to announce that the third stop on their inaugural Progressive Tour of its member commercial galleries across coastal Fairfield County, is happening on Thursday evening, November 12th, at the Heather Gaudio Fine Art Gallery, in New Canaan, from 6-8pm. The gallery recently re-opened in a beautiful new space at 66 Elm Street, and is currently showing "New Arrangements: Contemporary Reimagined." This is an all–woman exhibition of works by Jaq Belcher, Cassandria Blackmore, Ann Gardner, Madeleine Keesing and Jae Ko, who appropriate industrial materials in unexpected ways, reconfiguring them into a contemporary fine art context.

The Alliance's Gallery Tour, programmed through the Spring of 2016, will reach from Greenwich to Bridgeport and include eight of the commercial galleries that are members of the Cultural Alliance. The tour began on September 30, at the C.Parker Gallery in Greenwich, with a second stop at the Fernando Luis Alvarez Gallery in Stamford, Oct. 17.

Subsequent galleries to be celebrated include: LeClerc Contemporary Gallery, 19 Willard Rd, Norwalk, Wednesday December 9; The Nylen Gallery at Picture This, 772 Post Rd East, Westport, January 13; Southport Galleries, 330 Pequot Ave, Southport, Wednesday February 17; Framemakers Gallery, 3004 Fairfield Ave, Bridgeport, Wednesday March 16; and Browngrotta Arts, 276 Ridgefield Rd, Wilton, Wednesday, May 4.
