(Norwalk, CT)  – The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County has arranged for Ana Fiore, of the Fiscal Sponsorship Program of the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) to present a workshop Tues. Jan. 12, 6-8pm at Silvermine Arts Center, on NYFA’s extensive fundraising and support programs available nationwide for individual artists and emerging arts organizations. Visual, performing, literary artists and filmmakers are all encouraged to attend.There is no charge to attend but you must register in advance (here) - seating is limited.

This presentation will include practical information on fundraising and grant writing for artists as well as information about NYFA's various program offerings (NYFA Source, NYFA Learning, NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship, and more). Fiscal Sponsorship is a critical way for individual artists, artists' collaborative projects, and emerging arts organizations in all disciplines to apply for funding usually available only to organizations with 501c3 nonprofit status.
