For the fourth and last in our FY16 series on SHARING RESOURCES: Expertise to Go, we will focus on Volunteers: recruiting, managing and celebrating them. We are delighted to feature as our guest speaker CASEY LEVENE, one of the region's top experts in this field. Casey managed the Skilled Volunteer Program for the Greater Danbury Nonprofit Resource Center, 2007-2011, and now manages the Volunteer Consultant Program for the United Way of Western Connecticut - matching professional skilled volunteers with nonprofit agencies to cultivate expertise in marketing, technology, human resources, and finance, working on defined projects.
Keeping to the spirit of of SHARING RESOURCES series, we will also hear from Beth Ulman, ED of the Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestras, on Volunteer Recruitment, and Lou Ursone, ED of Curtain Call, on his experience and expertise in Volunteer Management.

There will also be 30 minutes for questions, discussion and time for sharing your own experiences with attracting, training and retaining volunteers.
NOTES AVAILABLE ON PEER ADVISOR NETWORK MEETING
A 3-page report on our March 2016 meeting on the Peer Advisor Network (PAN) is now available here. Video available on request. In this meeting, John Cusano introduced PAN, and we then then heard two case studies: Stamford Museum (Kirsten Brophy) working with Betsy Fox on an archives project and the Norwalk Symphony (Louis Pietig) working with Richard Scaldini on board development and strategic planning.
