My Gemini Spark Testing: RPA Is Still on the Table It Looks Like

I wrote this in an earlier newsletter in a different version. But, in testing Gemini Spark Agents, I was attempting to automate some processes with Gemini and NotebookLM. I was doing it though without there a being an API for NotebookLM.

That means that Google Blocks itself when trying to automate processes there. I have politely yelled at everyone I can about this, but I'm not sure that will go anywhere.

I remember a couple of months back talking about RPA or Robot Process Automation. This is actually what will be needed for processes like those that I am trying to do with NotebookLM. Even trying to attach the MCP Server, I am told by Gemini will not help me in what I am trying to do.

So, for some automations, Agents are still not yet fully able to do all of the "things" even if you are sitting at your desk to give permission.

Wierd...but true.

So, I am looking at Axiom.AI and Microsoft Power Automate to do RPA which is free with my Microsoft Subscription.

I will keep you posted on what happens. In all other respects Google Gemini Spark is quite nice, runs in the cloud with Google Docs and not on a PC.

I don't want anything on my desktop or any desktop running unsupervised. I will be doing some training on this for Ultimate Insiders and eventually I will make it available to the public if there is time. But stay tuned here regardless and I'll let you know what I know as a I know it.
