Google's Developer Conference This Week
As I understand it, Google will be be doing a Developer Conference this week. They call it I/O and if you have your ears the ground you already know about it.
There are two pieces that will affect you directly.
1)Gemini Spark
Gemini Spark is designed for you to create agentic tasks. Many of theme are the same as that you may see people discuss about Claude Co-Work.
I will be covering Agents on Friday, if the new interface is ready this week.
2) Google Antigraity
This platform is supposed to help people to code without knowing programming/coding. I have practiced with it a few times and it is definitely NOT for non-programmers.
But the programers and coders that I follow on X are pretty excited about the fact that a lot of new features are doing to be announced.
If those new features make it easier to use then I am all for it.
If not, I am beginning to learn not to get too excited about the same things that coders and programmers are excited about.
Once it is user friendly enough, I will cover it.
Vibe Coding Is for Everyone...Not Just Coders and Programmers
There are also going to be changes to Google AI Studio. As I said in the main newsletter, Vibe Coding is just a fancy way of describing the process of creating apps without knowing programming.
You are creating the App with "vibes" or "ideas" or hunches.
I covered the Google AI Studio Platform earlier this year. I made it so that anyone can master it and create their own app (free) and then test their ideas and then pay for it only when you have customers. It is certainly something you can do and teach for others.
