Laurel's Catch 22
Laurel has been tasked by our church to implement a web system called Subsplash. It's like GHL for churches and is not for the faint of heart.
But over the last three months she figuratively wrestled the platform to the ground and has just about everything up and running and will likely launch it first week of May.
I am really really proud of the work she has done.
After hearing (and seeing) what she has done so far with the church's website and app someone else called her to ask if she would be willing to do their site.
That client wants to be able to do their own updates since they are basically bootstrapping their business. Paying Laurel to do all of the updates would not be good business for the person.
We agree.
But, in both cases, with both the client website and the church's app...getting things set up is the beginning. It's the training that must be done which is likely to fall to me.
I have warned her that people will associate her good work with me at some point just because I am in front of them making sure they know how to use it. I have had this happen to me in all of the years I trained for internet marketers and even network marketers even when I neither created or sold the product.
Take that to heart that even if you don't know how to sell the "AI" stuff, if you know how to train, you can win hearts after the sale.
Getting glory as the trainer for somebody else's sweat is hard work but somebody has to do it.
It might was well be you (and me). :)
