The Reality Of A Spiritual Realm – H L Ford

A wise man said, “If it be difficult to prove by human reasoning that there is a God, it is utterly impossible to prove that there is not.
 
We all are spiritual beings because God created us with a spirit, soul, and body, whether we recognize it or not. However, many people claim to be spiritual but have no allegiance to any particular faith.

Here’s the truth: People interact with spirits every day — spirits of fear (2 Tim. 1: 7), spirits of doubt, spirits of unbelief (Heb. 3: 12-19), spirits of bitterness, spirits of infirmity, foul spirits (Mark 9: 25), and many more. These are actual entities according to the Bible. I know this also from personal experience.

The spirit of antichrist is at work in any spirit that “confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh,” (I John 4: 3). John’s letter reports that this spirit is “already in the world.” We see this ‘spirit of antichrist’ active in places that want to stop public prayer and that fight against any allegiance to the sanctity of life, marriage, and respect for the Word of God.

This is one reason Jesus teaches us to pray, “Deliver us from the evil one,” and James teaches us to resist these spirits by drawing near to God, and by the blood of the Lamb. “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4) That’s the spirit of “power, love, and a sound mind,” (2 Tim. 1:7). Glory!!!

Father, I submit myself to You and give thanks for the Spirit of power to resist any evil spirit that comes against me. I choose to walk in love because faith works by love, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
