Asking God Why ~ Trusting Him in the Midst by Cheri M. Glesener

Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you. Psalm 33:20-22 (ESV)

Sometimes I wonder why? Do you ever wonder that too? I believe God works all things together for good and that everything is Father filtered first! He has all things, situations, trials, tribulations, and any adversity we would ever endure under control even when everything around us seems full of chaos. I am just so thankful that God is sovereign and cares so deeply for us every day in spite of it all! What comfort that can bring to our lives knowing God carries us in the palm of His mighty hand.

Our Lord is the greatest comforter there is and for that my heart can rejoice! May you find comfort in knowing God is your ever present help in time of need and that even though we may not fully understand everything on this side of Heaven, we can rest assured that the Lord is near to us when we call upon His name, for His name is powerful and only Jesus can bring healing, comfort, forgiveness, love, enduring hope and strength, and shelter from any storm!
