God’s 3G Network - Karen Pourbabaee

“I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in Me and I in Him will bear much fruit, because without Me you can do nothing.” John 5:15 NAB

We live in a world of vast networking, 5G being the latest technology for ultimate reception and connectivity to the world about us. This keeps us in the know regarding secular news, politics, entertainment, and the like. But our most vital connection is to our Heavenly Father, who sends down lifelines for our spiritual life and progress. Scripture says we are to be as connected as a vine to its branches--through that, all life and fruit will manifest. Via God’s 3G Network, He downloads His goodness, His grace, and His gifts.

God gives us His goodness. The Psalms beautifully sing to us of the abundance of God’s goodness toward us. “How great is Your goodness, Lord, stored up for those who fear You.” (Psalm 31:20) What is the promise of such goodness? It’s found in Psalm 23:6: “Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all my life…” Goodness, every day!

God gives us His grace. Simply ask. “So let us confidently approach the throne of grace …to find grace for timely help.” (Hebrews 4:16) If we humbly near His throne, we will find grace. It’s all we need to overcome and see victory in Jesus’ Name. “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Cor. 12:9) Take the grace!

God gives us His gifts. James declares that every good and perfect gift is from above. (James 1:17) Besides goodness and grace, the Lord sends us gifts for growing through the Holy Spirit. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” (Galatians 5:22-23) How does your garden grow?

Abide in the Vine, God’s 3G Network, and stay connected to His goodness, His grace, and His gifts –forever and ever! Amen.
