What Is My Destiny? - by Buife Nomeh

"For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified." (Romans 8:29-30 KJV)

Have you been seeking purpose? You know, wondering what it is exactly that you were made for. Are you in search of destiny? Does your current state of life seem like a mess or feels like it has no direction? Could it be that you are pouring all your energy into the wrong places? Well, here's some truth: no one is ever going to find true satisfaction doing something that he or she was not made to do.

Has the Lord called you? Do not measure the capacity in which He has called you, weighing it against that of another. He calls us into that which He has qualified us to do. Take a different turn and you're bound to fail. Hearken to Him and you are sure to have good success. Big or little, it doesn't matter. What counts is that you are where the Lord wants you to be and are doing what the Lord calls you to do.

True happiness and great peace floods the heart that knows it is where the Lord has placed it. Great comfort knows the one who is faithful to the call of the Master. It is time we stopped searching for that which we think we should be doing and start doing that which the Lord has searched us out to do. First point of call--be conformed to the Image of Christ (Romans 12:1-2).
