| Reviewing the Past – by Lynn Gipson “Review the past for me, let us argue the matter together; state the case for your innocence." Isaiah 43:-26 NIV How wonderful that we have a Lord who will review our past with us and listen to our remorse at what we have done. He will listen while we state a case for why we have sinned in the past, what we have learned from it, and why we never want to sin that way again. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ listens to our hearts when they are breaking from the hurt we have caused ourselves and others, and then miracle of all miracles, He forgives us and tells us to go and sin no more. That kind of love can only be offered by the One who has developed us in our mother's womb, and seen each and every heartbreak we have gone through. He has listened when our souls cried out for mercy, and delivered mercy when we did not deserve it. Finally, Jesus Christ will deliver us from our pain by giving us His grace for every wrongdoing we have ever committed, and accepting our souls into Heaven. After a lifetime of trying to live in the world, we will get to spend eternity with Him.
