Revival, Hallelujah!: From the Shoulder
Paul Juby

Out of the blue I started writing poems. Not beautiful ones, not pretty ones, but all with solid messages of hope and direction. These are messages from the shoulder to church leaders and passive Christians and poems to show the way to all seekers. These poems can be read to congregations to stir them into action. These poems can be read in the quiet at home. Almost all bring revival to the fore. Messages are aimed at the heart of every person.

Today's Devotional
Empowered by Acceptance
Michael Edwards

Accepting the truth in life's struggles is empowering.

When I find myself struggling and disturbed in my life with anything, I have often quoted from memory the following words. They have always empowered me, leading me to examine the only thing I can change. If the words in italics do not apply, just remove or replace them.

"And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, It is because I find some person, place, thing, situation -- Some fact of my life -- unacceptable to me, And I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake. Until I could accept my alcoholism, I could not stay sober; unless I accept life completely on life's terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes." *Alcoholics Anonymous, 4th Edition p. 417, Copyright 1976 A.A.W.S. Inc.

Accepting who you are in Christ is beyond empowering.

I accept that in Christ I am:

Greatly loved by God - Ephesians 2:4

Forgiven of all my sins - Ephesians 1:7

Free from the law of sin and death
Rom 8:2

Righteous - Rom 5:19

Complete - Colossians 2:10 NASB

Justified - 1 Corinthians 6:11

Sanctified - Hebrews 10:10 NASB

Holy and without blame - Ephesians 1:4

Perfected - Hebrews 10:14 NASB

Have you accepted who you are in Christ today Christian?
