Our Father is an awesome God. Take some time to get to know his heart better today.
God has many descriptive names in the Bible. Here are just a few and what they mean for his children.

Yahweh-Tsidkenu - The LORD Our Righteousness – He Makes Us Righteous -Jer 23:6

Yahweh-M'Kaddesh – The Lord Our Sanctification - He Makes Us Holy - Lev 20:8

Yahweh-Shalom - The LORD Our Peace - Judges 6:24

Yahweh-Raah - The LORD Our Shepherd - Psalm 23

Yahweh-Rapha - The LORD Our Healer- Exodus 15:26

Yahweh-Yireh - The LORD Our Provider - Genesis 22:14

Best name of all, Jesus sacrifice for our sins, and resurrection for our justification, made it possible for us to call God our Abba, Father, Daddy, Papa.

Abba – The Lord Our Father, Daddy, Papa - Mark 14:36, Romans 8:15, Galatians 4:6

Strong’s 5: Abbá – "Father," also used as the term of tender endearment by a beloved child – i.e. in an affectionate, dependent relationship with their father, "daddy," "papa." 

In Jesus high priestly prayer, he tells us that our Father loves us as much as he loves Jesus himself. 

I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. John 17:23 NLT

Your Father wants a close intimate relationship with you. Come closer to his heart today, resting in him.
