Beware the Winds of Doctrine
Henry Miranda

Doctrine is the study of the Word of God. This book explains that it's not 'IF' we believe -it is 'WHAT' we believe.

Religion is a tool of Satan, and he has placed many false teachers and preachers in our midst. This is one way that he can get to people as they have the need to worship.

Humility in the Context of Faith
Toni Babcock

"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost," (Romans 14:17 KJV).

The Bible addresses our need for humility whenever thinking too highly of ourselves at another Christian's expense. It introduces principles that can be applied whenever we are tempted to feel "puffed up" against another, especially in the context of faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ

Referring to a matter of conscience between Christians in Rome the Apostle Paul wrote, "Who art thou that judgeth another man's servant? To his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up, for God is able to make him stand." (Romans 14:4 KJV). He goes on to ask, "But why dost thou judge thy brother? Or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ," (Romans 14:10 KJV).

As believers in Jesus who hold divergent, and sometimes opposing opinions non-essential to the gospel, we must resist looking down on someone else's spiritual convictions. In this way, we can avoid unnecessarily breaking fellowship with another believer, or secretly assume he or she is "outside the faith" if they don't agree 100% with what we have to say.
