“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5)
While I was out on my back deck at 6 am this morning, I stared up at the sky. It was overcast and seemingly ominous as a storm loomed close.
But in the middle of the sky, there was the brightest illumination breaking through the clouds. It had hues of gold and pink and streamed across my window, creating a prism. The rainbow immediately offered peace and serenity for my soul. It caused joy to burst forth that allowed for an affirmation of God’s peace and presence. Even amid a pandemic, and great unrest throughout the land, God’s peace came calling.
God’s moments are always on time, every time. He is never late. He is on course providing moments, and protection over our lives, every second we live. When we cling to the vine, we will survive the tempest of escalating tides. We will be able to withstand the turbulence that seeks to upset our lives. We will receive affirmation over and over that He is real, His love is real, and our faith is not in vain,
Look for the light, no matter how dark the moments in your life get because after every storm…there is a rainbow waiting for you, at the right time, every time.
“Father God, thank You for Your light and affirmation all the days of my life, past, present, and future, in Jesus name, Amen.”
