DEVOTION - by Linzy Bruno

Writing bible devotionals is fun and exciting for me. I enjoy exploring several genres, but writing about what I know about God in order to spread His good news, well it's heavenly..... to say the least.
I just got through writing a couple of new devotionals, when it occurred to me to write one called: "Devotion."
How do I love thee, let me count the ways.....Ut oh, I don't think I know high enough numbers. I better try another way!
Then I thought the best way to write a devotional about devotion is to simply recite/write scripture of praise and glory, which will ultimately display my love and commitment. But first, I'd just like to say:
I love to write about Jesus and imagine His beautiful face. I am not ashamed of my love and devotion. My Lord and savior; I adore thee! I worship YOU! I remind myself daily of all You've done for me. I thank you Lord for Your kindness and mercy AMEN.
Now for my prayer, but wait a minute; I have no need to write a prayer. This time speaking words of worship from Isaiah, Romans and Psalms will be my prayer:
"I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being." Psalms 104. 33.*
"Shout for joy, O heavens! And rejoice, O earth! Break forth into joyful shouting O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people And will have compassion of His afflicted." Isaiah 49.13.*
"I love to sing praises to You oh Lord and I will sing those praises forever"....... Linzy Bruno. *NASB
