WHEN ILLNESS KILLS – by Linzy Bruno
"And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying...." Revelation 21.4 KJV
People are always asking why God allows people to go through terminal illnesses. "It's not fair; so-in-so is SUCH a good person!"
We all know life isn't fair, but it helps to trust God and NOT try to figure these things out because there is NO earthly explanation. It can also help to remember all believers have a place already in heaven and eternal life is much better than life on earth.
Since the earth is full of imperfection; disease is an inescapable reality and there's no doubt; these precious people are wonderful examples of courage and strength. However, because of disease; certain individuals become inspired to become doctors and other medical professionals and that gives people important work to do and serves this world well. Furthermore, doctors examine causes and possible cures for disease through their bodies, which means those brave, sick people didn't die in vain....
PRAYER: Dear God, please be with ____and his/her loved ones during this time of illness. Spare this precious life, if it be in Your will. Please help our family to accept it if death is imminent. Bless us with Your comfort during our time of grief.....in Jesus name, Amen.
