A Believer's Prayer to be Faithful to God's Word Lakella L. Davenport
Hebrews 11:6 KJV- “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
As this year comes to a close, I look back on all the good things you have done for me both small and great. I am thankful each and every day that you allow me to live and share your word with others. You are such a faithful, gracious, and merciful God. With you every day is a fresh new start. You are the center of my heart. My love for you grows with the passage of time. As we approach this holiday season, I know you are the reason. I promise to put you first in all that I do. For your word promises me in Matthew chapter 6 verse 33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Psalms 119 verses 10-17 is my heartfelt prayer to you, my God.
“With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandment. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed are thou, O Lord teach me thy statues. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches. This is the day that the Lord hath made: We will rejoice and be glad in it. I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statues: I will not forget thy word. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word,” (Psalms 119: 10-17 KJV).
Father God, we thank thee for your unconditional love and holy word.
