Hand-picked Nebbiolo. The wine passes two years in large Slavonian-oak botti from Stockinger and is assembled in steel for an additional year to allow for natural settling and a bottling without filtration.
Offering an expressive and cleanly articulated nose of lifted red fruits, licorice, and dark flowers, it possesses classically intense Serralunga structure on the palate, balanced and generous —a superb and highly enjoyable example of one of the greatest Barolo vintages in recent history.

Due to its unique soil composition, Serralunga d’Alba is known for producing some of the most structured and long-lived Barolos. Serralunga d’Alba is known for:
- Soils rich in limestone and calcareous, containing the highest concentration of calcium carbonate in the Barolo zone
- Elevations ranging from 230 to 400 meters above sea level
- A unique microclimate featuring significant day-night temperature variations
- Ancient, thin soils causing vine roots to grow deep
