| | | 2023 Benazzoli Tecla Bardolino Chiaretto Rosé $192 case Made on the southeastern shores of Lake Garda in the Veneto region of Northern Italy, Bardolino is a mix of the indigenous grapes Corvina, and Rondinella. The terroir is dominated by glacial soils with stony sub-soils composed of mostly limestone.
|
| | Tecla’s color is an intense, bright pink. On the nose, graceful notes of pink roses, fruity sensations of fraises des bois and red cherries, and suggestions of juicy Sicilian oranges intermingle like flights of butterflies. On the palate it is taut and refreshing, with an evident zestiness and a piquant peppery vein that makes its flavour even more lively and appealing. The floral and fruity notes come attractively to the fore once again in its refined, tasty finish.

| The Benazzoli Family ~ Made by Women “We are two sisters, and secrets are shared between sisters. The secret of our wines is what is behind the label, the work that comes first and that has to do with curiosity, discovery and love. Our grandfather and our father have taught us that being wine growers means this, and above all, means being respectfull. Respect for traditions, for an authentic life punctuated by the rhythm of nature and which has the scent of hands accustomed to caress the branches. Respect of the territory, with its perfumes, its products and people.” |
