Subject: Speaking of Taiwan....

Have you tried their whiskies?
Kavalan has been tearing up the whisky world, beating out Scotland the last two years in the World Whiskies Awards. They are the first whisky distillery in Taiwan and owe their success to the nation’s unique natural resources (the subtropical heat and the pristine water) and remarkable technological skills. The founder of the Kavalan distillery spent years searching for the perfect site, with the ideal water supply. He chose Yilan as the site for its abundant supply of cold, spring water flowing through the Snow Mountain. Kavalan, the earliest tribe that inhabited Yilan, represents sincerity, honesty, and the spirit of step-by-step cultivation. Kavalan distillery continues the tradition of passionate commitment to creating the premium whisky.
