100% Sangiovese Grosso. The rosso exhibits a depth and complexity rarely found in Rosso di Montalcino. This wine is fermented at a cooler temperature than the other wines but still receives more than 2 weeks of skin contact. The wine ages for 8-9 months in large cask depending on the vintage.
