Subject: ✦Lets go to Limoux!✦

An award-winning family-run estate high in the foothills of the Pyrenees in the South of France, making fine, hand-crafted sparkling and white wines!
2015 Chateau Rives-Blanques Blanquette de Limoux Sparkling

$288 case

This is the first sparkling wine in the world, invented and enjoyed by the Benedictine monks in Limoux around 1500, more than a century before Champagne’s Dom Pérignon started “drinking the stars”!

This is as crisp and clean as the mountains on the Languedoc horizon. It is made from the old historic grape variety of the region, Mauzac, and spends at least one year on the lees after its second fermentation in the bottle.

Limoux Mauzac Cuvee Occitania

$288 case

Occitania is a uniquely ‘Limoux’ still wine, and we are passionate about it. Mauzac has been thriving in these hills for over 600 years.

Made from this traditional Renaissance grape variety from a beautiful field of uncloned 50-year old vines. Extra hang-time plus careful vinification in seasoned oak barrels gives added richness, making Occitania a delicious food wine: lovely and creamy in the mouth with a lot of peach and apricot, finishing off with a touch of vanilla.

Occitania features on the wine-lists of several Michelin-starred restaurants around the world.
