Subject: Jaboulet Crozes Hermitage Blanc!

We have had a great time tasting through the new releases from Jaboulet. This 2014 white was a favorite and we think a great value for the terrific quality from the very talented Caroline Frey.

Crosses Hermitage La Mule Blanche

Northern Rhone

90 Points Wine Advocate "An outstanding white is the 2014 Crozes Hermitage la Mule Blanche is made from equal part Roussanne and Marsanne that spent nine months in 15% new French oak, with the balance in stainless steel and concrete eggs. Offering up lots of buttered citrus, lychee nut and white flowers, it's medium-bodied, fresh and lively, if not racy on the palate. Possessing solid fruit and the overriding elegance that's become the hallmark of the estate, it will drink nicely for at least 4-5 years. Caroline Frey and winemaker Jacques Desvernois continue to make a bevy of high quality wines from throughout the Rhône Valley. Both their 2014s and 2013s show the vintage character nicely, and the wines show fresher, more elegant profiles without sacrificing too much density and depth.”
