Subject: 🍷A Delicious and Unmistakably Italian Rosato🇮🇹

ANDREA OCCHIPINTI, Lazio Italy
This estate is based on the slopes surrounding the Volcanic lake of Bolsena; the region is part of Maremma (called “Tuscia” in Lazio), about 15 minutes’ drive from the Tuscan border, a spectacular terroir known for the infamous “Est Est Est” white.

Andrea Occhipinti has made it his mission to preserve the local grape varieties, working essentially with Aleatico di Gradoli (the local aleatico, stylistically a bit more on the delicate and spicy than the versions from Tuscany).
It is considered one of the oldest grape varieties in Italy.

These are real wines of terroir, pure and natural.

$150 six-bottle-case
100% Aleatico
Cherry pink in the glass. The nose evolves into fruity notes of strawberry and floral scents of wild rose and freshly cut herbs. In the mouth it is juicy pink grapefruit and cherrystone, with good freshness and minerality and a long salty citrus finish.
