Situated next door to Mouton Rothschild in Pauillac, Chateau Pontet Canet owes its recent success and popularity to the management of Alfred Tesseron who took over the estate in 1994 and has shifted to biodynamic farming. They have five horses that work the vineyard, inspiring other estates such as Chateau Latour and Chateau Margaux to follow suit.
