“Light, bright orange. Vibrant, mineral-driven red berry, orange zest and jasmine aromas are complemented by deeper suggestions of smoky lees and anise. Rich and broad yet surprisingly lively on the palate, offering bitter cherry and raspberry flavors that are given lift and cut by juicy acidity. Finishes taut and stony, with echoing red fruit and leesy nuances. This robust yet tensile pink Champagne would work well with rich fish dishes or even lighter poultry preparations; it would also be fantastic with raw or rare tuna or salmon.”
